Happy together - When Art Leaves Home

November 18, 2021

Art , my kittens

These two went out as a pair and are now in their new home together. It's always fun to see the kittens happy in their new home. That's from my perspective

Making it your own

Then there's the meaning and purpose assigned them by their new owner. Very often this takes them places I never fathomed.

Inviting you in

Leaving room in the art for its new owner to bring their own meaning into it is far more interesting than dictating a rigid meaning that cannot bend. Art is alive.

Your idea here

Like the negative space the shape of bulb in this piece i called, "Your Idea Here" and the "lightning Cutout" suggest a presence of something greater than the art itself.

What would you do?

I invite you to look at the pieces and think of what special meaning you would assign them if they were yours.

More in the Gallery

And don't forget, there are more like these on display and for sale at the Blue House Too in the beautiful Gallery in Fall Creek area of Allen, TX
